This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your JEEP COMMANDER . This 13 pin summer wiring kit will trigger a warning sound when a faulty trailer turn light is detected.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your JEEP COMMANDER with a button on your dashboard. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed JEEP COMMANDER installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your JEEP COMMANDER. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
