This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VW CADDY IV MPV . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VW CADDY IV MPV . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed CADDY IV MPV CADDY IV MPV installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VW CADDY IV MPV . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
