This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW PASSAT B5.5. This 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the blink frequency of the turn light control function when a trailer light is faulty.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assistance function of yourVW PASSAT B5.5 is supported by this 13 pin Top Tronic electrical wiring kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed PASSAT B5.5 PASSAT B5.5 installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW PASSAT B5.5. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
