This 13-pin electrical kit, made by TowTec, is suitable for the HONDA PRELUDE IV . This EU-version of this wiring kit will not control the trailer turn light function. This electrical set is delivered without a module for the indicator monitoring
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your HONDA PRELUDE IV with a button on your dashboard. TowTec specifies an installation time of 1.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s).
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
