1 The indicated fitting times for towbars and wiring kits are related to the regular installation of these products. Some car models might require additional work like disassembling the bumper.

Product details

The 13-pin TowTec electrical kit is suitable for the FORD KA. This EU-version of this wiring kit will not signal trailer turn light defects. The electrical set is not suitable for indicator monitoring, since a module is not included in delivery.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your FORD KA with a push on a dashboard button. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hours for installation.

In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
