This 13-pin electrical kit, made by TowTec, is suitable for the DODGE RAM 2500 Standard Cab Pickup . This EU-version of this wiring kit will not signal trailer turn light defects. A module for the indicator monitoring is not included in the delivery of the electrical set.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your DODGE RAM 2500 Standard Cab Pickup with a push on a dashboard button. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hours for installation.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
