This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your SUBARU OUTBACK. This 13 pin summer wire kit produces a warning sound when a defective trailer turn light is detected.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assistance function of your SUBARU OUTBACK is supported by this 13 pin Summer electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed SUBARU OUTBACK installation manual. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SUBARU OUTBACK. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
