Perfectly matched to your VW SHARAN, this towbar and electrical kit were developed for you to tow a trailer of up to 2100 kg. The 85 kg vertical load is ideal for the transport of bicycles with one of our bike carriers.
The vehicle does not need to be inspected by an expert after the complete set has been installed. There is also no need for an entry in the vehicle documentation of your VW SHARAN . The instructions of the vehicle manufacturer in your vehicle user manual must be complied with. It is possible that the parking assist sensors of the car detect the tow ball. In reverse the towbar could be recognized as an obstacle. If your vehicle has a parking assistance system, we recommend that you install a detachable towbar.
The article 176218 is also required for this complete set. This provides you with everything, from the smallest screw to the installation instructions, required to mount a towbar on your VW SHARAN.
