This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ConWys is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
