This 13 pin ConWys wiring kit is made specifically for your POLESTAR POLESTAR 2. This 13-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your POLESTAR POLESTAR 2. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your POLESTAR POLESTAR 2 with a button on your dashboard. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your POLESTAR POLESTAR 2. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
