This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 308 I. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your PEUGEOT 308 I and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 308 I is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your PEUGEOT 308 I. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 308 I when using a trailer or bicycle carrier, accessory ZB6335 can be used, as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory ZB6335 must be installed 2 times.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
An adhesive label or sign on the A or B pillar of your PEUGEOT 308 I displays the ORGA number. Please note that this electrical set is only suitable as of number 11681.
