This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 407. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your PEUGEOT 407, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 407 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your PEUGEOT 407. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
An adhesive label or sign on the A or B pillar of your PEUGEOT 407 displays the ORGA number. Please note that this electrical set is only suitable as of number 11557.
