This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your VOLVO C30. This 13 pin summer wire kit produces a warning sound when a defective trailer turn light is detected.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO C30 with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VOLVO C30 installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VOLVO C30 . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
