This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your BMW 7. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the BMW 7. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your BMW 7 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
