Are you looking for a specific electrical kit suitable for your BMW 3 Convertible? Then this 13-pin electrical kit from ECS is the right one. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your BMW 3 Convertible, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your BMW 3 Convertible is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
