This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your FORD GALAXY II . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your FORD GALAXY II . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. ECS specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
