This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your FORD MONDEO IV Turnier. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your FORD MONDEO IV Turnier . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. ECS specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
