This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your OPEL INSIGNIA A. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the OPEL INSIGNIA A. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your OPEL INSIGNIA A is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your OPEL INSIGNIA A. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 2 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
