This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 307. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your PEUGEOT 307 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 307 when using a trailer or bicycle carrier, accessory ZB6335 can be used, as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory ZB6335 must be installed 2 times.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
The product ZB5437 is necessary if you want to install this 13-pin specific electrical kit. You should therefore include it in your order.
