This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 807. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your PEUGEOT 807 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 807 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 807 when a trailer or bicycle carrier is installed, you can use this accessory: ZB6335. This your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, accessory ZB6335 is required 2 times. This accessory is required because in some countries the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
The product ZB5437 is necessary if you want to install this 13-pin specific electrical kit. You should therefore include it in your order.
