This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 407. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your PEUGEOT 407 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 407 when a trailer or bicycle carrier is installed, you can use this accessory: ZB6335. This your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, accessory ZB6335 is required 2 times. This accessory is required because in some countries the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.

A sign or adhesive label on the A or B pillar of the front doors on your PEUGEOT 407 provides information about the ORGA number. This electrical set is only suitable up to the number 11556.

You should also order article ZB5437 in order to correctly mount the 13-pin specific electrical kit.
