This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 307 Break. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your PEUGEOT 307 Break and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 307 Break is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 307 Break when a trailer or bicycle carrier is installed, you can use this accessory: ZB6335. This your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, accessory ZB6335 is required 2 times. This accessory is required because in some countries the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
To install this 13-pin specific electrical kit, you will need the additional article ZB5437. We recommend you order it at the same time.
