This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your CITROËN C4 PICASSO I MPV. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your CITROËN C4 PICASSO I MPV and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your CITROËN C4 PICASSO I MPV is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your CITROËN C4 PICASSO I MPV when a trailer or bicycle carrier is installed, you can use this accessory: ZB6335. This your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, accessory ZB6335 is required 2 times. This accessory is required because in some countries the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.

The ORGA number of your CITROËN C4 PICASSO I MPV must not exceed the number 12530, otherwise the electrical set will not be suitable. You can find the ORGA number of your vehicle on a sign or adhesive label on the A or B pillar.

You should also order article ZB5437 in order to correctly mount the 13-pin specific electrical kit.
