After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your PEUGEOT 308 I, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 308 I is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 308 I when using a trailer or bicycle carrier, accessory ZB6335 can be used, as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory ZB6335 must be installed 2 times.
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
The ORGA number of your PEUGEOT 308 I must not exceed the number 11680, otherwise the electrical set will not be suitable. You can find the ORGA number of your vehicle on a sign or adhesive label on the A or B pillar.
