This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your FORD TRANSIT V363 Platform/Chassis . The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your FORD TRANSIT V363 Platform/Chassis and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your FORD TRANSIT V363 Platform/Chassis with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your FORD TRANSIT V363 Platform/Chassis. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
