Are you looking for a specific electrical kit suitable for your VOLVO XC70 II? Then this 13-pin electrical kit from ECS is the right one. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VOLVO XC70 II . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO XC70 II with a button on your dashboard. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VOLVO XC70 II. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
