This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ GLE . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ GLE . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ GLE . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
