This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your VW PASSAT B8. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VW PASSAT B8 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your VW PASSAT B8 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW PASSAT B8. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
