The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW PASSAT ALLTRACK B8 Variant and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your VW PASSAT ALLTRACK B8 Variant is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW PASSAT ALLTRACK B8 Variant. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket.
