This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your BMW X5 . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the BMW X5. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

You could even turn off the parking assistance of your BMW X5 with a push on a dashboard button. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your BMW X5 . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
