This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your BMW 4 Convertible . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the BMW 4 Convertible. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your BMW 4 Convertible with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BMW 4 Convertible. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
