Product details

This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your BMW 5. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the BMW 5. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your BMW 5 with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BMW 5. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
