This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your MINI MINI . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the MINI MINI. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your MINI MINI with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MINI MINI. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
