This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your MINI MINI. This 13-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your MINI MINI. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your MINI MINI with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MINI MINI. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
