This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your BMW X2 . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your BMW X2 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your BMW X2 with a button on your dashboard. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your BMW X2 . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
