This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your DS DS 7 . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your DS DS 7 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your DS DS 7 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your DS DS 7. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
