This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your KIA RIO IV. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your KIA RIO IV . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your KIA RIO IV with a button on your dashboard.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
