This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your BYD TANG. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the BYD TANG. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your BYD TANG is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed TANG TANG installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your BYD TANG . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
