This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your FORD TRANSIT CONNECT V408 Box Body/MPV . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your FORD TRANSIT CONNECT V408 Box Body/MPV, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your FORD TRANSIT CONNECT V408 Box Body/MPV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s).

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
