This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your RENAULT MASTER III Bus. The kit will trigger the specific trailer turn light control indicator in the RENAULT MASTER III Bus dashboard. This function must not be activated separately.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your RENAULT MASTER III Bus with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed RENAULT MASTER III Bus installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your RENAULT MASTER III Bus. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
