This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your AUDI A3 Sportback . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your AUDI A3 Sportback . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your AUDI A3 Sportback. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
