After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS T-Model is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car.
