This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s). It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
