This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your VW GOLF PLUS V . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your VW GOLF PLUS V, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your VW GOLF PLUS V is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW GOLF PLUS V. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2.5 hour(s). It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
