This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your FORD MONDEO IV Turnier . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your FORD MONDEO IV Turnier, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your FORD MONDEO IV Turnier . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s). It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
