This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your AUDI Q7 . The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your AUDI Q7 and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your AUDI Q7. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The manufacturer Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hours for installation. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
