This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your BMW 1. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your BMW 1 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your BMW 1 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
