This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your BMW 3 Convertible. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the BMW 3 Convertible. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
