This 13-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your BMW 1 Convertible. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your BMW 1 Convertible is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
