This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS T-Model. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS T-Model . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS T-Model is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS T-Model. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The manufacturer Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
